Filter Innovations bag filter system is an economical method of liquid filtration consisting of the pressure vessel, restrainer basket and micron rated filter bag. The product to be filtered passes through a micron rated media leaving the solids trapped within the bag for simple and quick disposal. The filter media is extremely durable, can maintain high flow rates and is available in various felts with micron ratings of 1-200, as well as mesh material with micron ratings from 10-800 microns.

Automatic Grease Interceptor

The Automatic Grease Interceptor removes and recovers nearly 100% of the fats, oils and grease generated by restaurants, convenience stores, institutional kitchens and food processing facilities. The AGI eliminates rancid buildup in drainage pipes and conforms to most environmental protection programs. The AGI is available with flow rates from 20 to 800 gpm, features rugged stainless-steel construction, and is very low maintenance.

Advanced Filtration Systems

Advanced Filtration Systems (AFS) are used in applications where strict water quality discharge regulations are mandated. Highland's AFS, utilizing filters with patented hydrocarbon removal technology, are engineered to remove hydrocarbons ranging from BTEX to crude oil from water. A patented polymeric surfactant technology is used to infuse all filtration products. This treatment instantly bonds hydrocarbons to make them hydrophobic and viscoelastic - removing them completely from the water. The single-pass efficiency through the filter cartridges is often as high as 99.9% with very little pressure drop created by oil saturation.
